INX

ISPA owns and runs Africa’s oldest Internet Exchange Platform (IXP) where ISPA members as well as any entity with a valid ASN number can connect at any of a number of INX locations to join a community that has been shaping how businesses and South Africans connect to the internet since 1996.

INX is governed by the INX Managing Committee (a dedicated group of community-elected volunteers) and managed by a small group of dedicated staff, contractors and volunteers. Their mission is to keep South Africa's oldest internet exchange and peering ecosystem open, honest, community driven and available 24x7x365, as it has been since 1996.
